How A Photography Registry Works
The short version for brides and grooms:
- Book your wedding with Admire Studios, pay your $500 deposit
- Ask me for your Complimentary Photography Registry – it will be a page on my site
- Let your guests know about it!
- I’ll give you the page on my site and business card size cards to include in your invitations with information on your registry. If you’ve had your Engagement Session before you send your invites, one side of the cards will have your photo!
- Guests will contact me and put money in any amount they choose towards your photography package and products.
- Your guests will be able to gift you with your wedding photography and your choice of prints, albums, and products!

HOW DO I PURCHASE A PHOTOGRAPHY GIFT FOR THE COUPLE?NOTE: The couple must be an existing Admire Studios client- if they sent you here, you’re in the right place, if not and if they don’t have a photographer picked out, send them the link or purchase an Engagement Photography Gift Card so they can give Admire Studios a try! Purchasing and providing a Edmonton Wedding Photography Gift for the couple is fast and easy. Simply get in touch with Twyla to let her know your gift is coming, give her your name and a brief message for the couple, and provide the money via any of the Admire Studios acceptable payment methods. I can talk you through exactly what you need to do, just give Twyla a call.Once we receive your gift, we will record your name and message for the couple to be put in a keepsake card later, and put the money towards the couple’s wedding package, or if it has already been paid by the couple or the other guests, towards the couple’s choice of amazing display pieces like specialized albums, wall pieces, canvases and prints. Gifts can be provided up to 2 weeks after the wedding, if you forgot to purchase something for them.Choose to give a gift that lasts and give photography to be Admired. The first step is to check out that link to see if you like the work, the second is to call Twyla to arrange a meeting, or send keeners in your friends or family the link to purchase an Engagement Photography Gift Card so you can give Admire Studios a try one-on-one! Providing a Wedding Photography Registry to your guests is one of the most unique options available for your Edmonton or Saskatoon and Area Bridal Registry needs. Particularly suited to the couple who already has it all or doesn’t have much cash, a wedding photography registry can give your wedding budget a break by allowing guests to give you money that will go directly to the budget without feeling guilty or bad mannered. Choose to pay only your $500 deposit and let the guests pay the rest! You receive keepsake cards with the names and well wishes of your donors at the gift opening if your guests paid for your package, or at the close of the registry. We don’t recommend assigning your gift if there’s no direction from the bride and groom (they probably have particular plans) but you can certainly make suggestions if nothing has been provided! If you give your gift before 1 month prior to the wedding – when you get your invitation – it’s probably going to go towards the couple’s wedding photography package, and if you give your gift at the wedding, it will go towards products and services. HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE, AND HOW MUCH DO YOUR SERVICES COST?How much you give the couple is totally up to you. No gift is too small, and we will work with the couple to make the best out of their total. If a group of people decide that this kind of photography wedding registry gift is unique and ideal, it can add up and allow the couple to select beautiful, large, high-end products and services and extra sessions! It’s difficult to provide a great estimate of what you should give, but check out the Admire Studios Wedding Photography page for some pricing information. But just to give you an idea: Packages range from $1,750-$3,750; Album upgrades are $50-200 and albums for parents are $350-$500; large canvases are $300-500… This registry enables you to use group buying power to make your bride and groom’s wedding memories accessible for a lifetime. |
HOW AND WHEN DO WE REDEEM THE GIFTS?If you paid for your wedding package in full, you will find out the amount of your final total when you receive your images – around 2 weeks after the wedding. You can then start planning what to use it for! If you elected to pay only your $500 deposit and hope for the best with your bridal registry, we will go over your total gifts approximately one month before your wedding to determine the amount you personally need to pay, since the full amount has to be in before your wedding. Likely, if you’ve informed the guests via the registry page blurb that gifts before your wedding were going towards the balance, you may have a good chunk paid by then! All gifts after this point will go towards products, upgrades, and sessions. You can choose to redeem your after-package gifts at any time. |
