Admire Studios was closed from March 13th, 2020 to June 6th, 2020 due to COVID-19 legal restrictions in Alberta.
I am pleased to announce that Admire Studios will re-open on June 7th, while following the precautionary directives from the province of Alberta and City of Edmonton.
As photography is not specifically listed as a restricted business, it has been deemed safe to continue operations. Only restricted businesses are subject to restricted operations at this time.
I am only able to offer services in which physical distancing can be maintained. Services that I cannot offer include newborn photography, as I cannot maintain the correct distance from the infant. It is also still illegal to meet in groups of over 50 individuals, so I must be included in that number if I am requested to photograph an event.
Thank you very much for your patience.
PREVIOUS MESSAGE DURING CLOSURE:
Social distancing precautions for COVID-19 taken in advance of official regulations began for Admire Studios on March 13th, 2020 as the severity of the global pandemic became apparent to the majority of Albertans; and now in obedience to provincial regulations shutting down all non-essential businesses that I believe came into effect as of March 23rd, 2020:
Admire Studios is closed until further notice.
Inquiries for dates in June and beyond can be sent via email, but response times will vary.
I understand that it is difficult for many of my clients not to have any answers as to when this shutdown will end. By the current Alberta Health Services projections we are looking at June. Therefore, I cannot say with any certainty, but I expect Admire Studios may possibly reopen by sometime in June 2020.
I do not anticipate at this time that I will experience a permanent closure thanks to the CERB, for which I am eligible.
I have completed all paid photographic work for clients at this time. Inquiries are welcome for late 2020-2021 at this time, but I will likely be slow to respond, as I am taking this time to rejuvenate personally, take pride in my home, and enjoy a few good sessions of Dungeons and Dragons online with friends, since I am rather a nerd.
I truly apologize for any inconvenience, and I hope this time is refreshing for you and yours.
