When I first met the Cameron Family at the park, we were totally surrounded by swarms of people! Good thing I gave them a pretty specific meeting spot, or our session time might have been more like playing Where’s Waldo! It was the long weekend and Hawrelak Park was full to bursting with families enjoying the beautiful weather. We made our way over to a nice sheltered spot where it was looking possible to keep the kids’ attention. (Except for the frisbees. It’s difficult to be more interesting than a frisbee to a little person, as Mom pointed out.) She was telling me that they had taken some family photos previously and that they had been a disaster, so she wasn’t expecting too much. I always take that sort of comment as a challenge, and I think I succeeded in taking some lovely photos of this beautiful family! It’s always so heartening to me to see parents who take everything in stride like these lovely folks – and it totally seemed like Mom had planned life really well. It was a pleasure working with them and their two young sons, both of whom had the most amazing smiles. Enjoy!
